Issues connecting to router

Hi, I have a new EE setup (previously BT) of smart hub plus, hybrid connect and smart WiFi plus.  I am getting issues where devices which were connected to the router all of a sudden cannot connect and will not connect using WiFi. First my EE TV box stopped connection and simply will not connect on WiFi (had to resort to tp link connection) tonight my TV would not connect , showing no connection to router (never had an issue before) restarted router, switch TV off, reset network connections and tried to connect a number of times with no joy.  I have another repeater in the house which I managed to connect the TV to. It appears that the router seems to be randomly dropping devices and then not letting them reconnect, very very frustrating.  Any help or guidance appreciated

@Dwozza   your new EE hub has both uprated security and WiFi type that some older devices can struggle with.

But logging into the router you can change the security from WPA3 to WPA2 and to WiFi 5 from WiFi6.

Also if you still have your BT router, this will work on EE, but of course you will not have the faster WiFi speeds or later security level.

Thanks for the response. The EE TV box is brand new from EE and had previously connected to the router, just suddenly dropped its connection and would not connect again on WiFi.  Likewise the TV is fairly new and like the other device had previously connected to the router without issues, then today it dropped connectivity and would bit connect again
