We currently have EE Fibre Broadband but we are looking to move - the house we’re moving to only has this socket on the wall for broadband - will we have to contact EE to get them to come out and update it/broadband and any idea how much that costs?

thanks

What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker > Address Checker estimate for your new address? Post the whole table, the text below it and the line above it, blanking out your address. Do the same for your current address.

That is a copper socket so would not do full fibre.  If full fibre is available it will be installed for free by Openreach.
You can check on the link above or go onto the EE website and check - or if you call and speak to the home move team and they will check what connections are available at the new address for you
