I didn't recieve router

Hello, just wondering it might be me being stupid. Thought I'd ask on here before going to EE...hopefully save embarrassment.

I've literally just got fibre to house put in, the engineer asked if I'd received a router and I hadn't. I'm still using the bt router, it got sorted to run through that. I thought I would have got a new router though ?? It's not the end of the world but should I mention it to EE. 

I got a home phone adapter from them....2 in fact . 

Thanks for any help. I probably should ask them

@HanRed   It depends on the package you are on, not everyone gets a new router, and the BT Smart Hub 2 is all you need for most packages.

But do give customer services a call if you think you should have a new router or are on anything but the basic fibre broadband.
