Hi, I have been asked to by my workplace. Thank you

I just need to know how to do it or if I need to buy a personal router.

@Finfanero Why don't you just have the IT Team turn it off on the Equipment they gave you!

I have been requested to turn if off at the Router.

@Finfanero Just do not see that, why would your IT want to cripple your network for there goal! Does your IT Dept control what you do! Is it the older white EE Smarthub that you have! All the others below show the latest in the link!

Set up your EE Home Broadband hub | Broadband help | EE

Doesn't make sense! Why should your employer restrict your use, & that of your family, of your home network nor have any right to? Anyway if you are accessing their site from it you'd surely be using a VPN.

@Finfanero You can disable iPv6 with that hub, but i for sure am not going to tell you how to do it!

Try under Advanced > IPv6 > Config > Allocation mode to OFF.
