Home Phone Adaptor not linking

Wallsy10

As the landlines are moving to digital, I had to buy a home adaptor to link with the hub. On trying to link the adaptor with the Hub and following the instructions, the adaptor starts to flash red meaning its not linked.

Ive tried this now four five times but it still always flashes red. Technically it means there's a connection problem with my BT Broadband.....everything else is working via the hub

Any help with this would be appreciated.

@Wallsy10  Do you have a  digital phone line as part of your broadband package?

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Its switching to digital apparently according to BT letters. But no specific date given and was advised to purchase a home phone adaptor via EE

Spent about 3+ hours trying to link the BT HUB with the EE adapter, all sorts of combinations none of which resulted in a positive link.  Phoned EE went through it all again and EE said it was a faulty adapter and will send me a new one.

@Wallsy10   It’s switching but you don’t have a date when that’s going to happen,  so basically it’s not switched yet.  You’ll be notified when that’s going to happen with a date.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Thanks for this, Ive got another one which Ill try

Thanks Chris

@Wallsy10 Until you line move to a digital signal, and the current line moves from the Master socket to the router, then the adapters just keep them safe and in there boxes until all that happens...

Thanks Jim

Will keep my eye out for the transfer
