I SWITCHED FROM SKY BROADBAND TO EE. EE HAVE SAID THAT THEY WILL CREDIT MY ACCOUNT FOR SWITCHING IN 28 DAYS HOW DO I FIND OUT IF THE MONEY HAS BEEN ADDED TO MY ACCOUNT

You'll get an email & you will see it applied as credit to your next bill. See Switching Credit :
Once we’ve received your bill and validated the leaving fees, we'll credit this to your next EE bill. You’ll get an email to let you know if your claim has been successful.
