Long shot here.
Does anyone know what the original sofwtare was that powered the old freeserve.co.uk chat rooms.
I remember it was java based, but i cannot find anything about it online.
Or can anyone recommend something that is very similar ?
Or maybe EE still have the original software archived after buying them.

@Dominatez : What Freeserve Chat? I don't remember any chat rooms. You could construct your own website which presumably could do anything when you write the correct HTML files & that was powered by standard FTP.

Freeserve had a very large chatter base back in and around 2000 and i was trying to find that software or even the source code for it.
Had rooms like 20 somethings, 30 somethings, 40 somethings etc and was popular. There is a massive facebook group also.

Don't remember it at at all & I was with Freeserve for years. They did have a sort of semi-official website full of erotic pixs & links thereof & with some help pages. Maybe it was on that but I dunno as I never participated & disapproved of such things on a ISP-sponsored site.
