FTTP battery backup for phone etc?

Does EE offer a battery backup for their FTTP offering so phones and other IP connected kit can continue to work in a powercut? I'd be interested in any experience that people have?

Thanks

Chris

No. It wouldn't be just for FTTP but any Home BB.

Thanks Chris, and any advice on what makes sense in terms of how long to keep my local kit running, given a power loss could also have taken out our cabinet (500m away) and the local exchange 1km away?

@chrisru  the local cabinet is only for FTTC and has an internal 30 min backup.

The exchange will have battery backup and diesel generators so will keep powered for days.

You just need to think of the devices you want to keep going, and for how long  - ONT - Router and laptop and work out a suitable UPS for your own needs - if you are out in country perhaps longer than if in more urban areas.
