Extending my EE broadband via an external ethernet cable

Please could you advise.
I would like to extend my EE fibre broadband to a garden room/office that is too far away for a wireless connection.  I already have an external ethernet cable between the buildings.  What devices do I need to connect in order to have wireless broadband available in the garden room for several wireless connections?  Is it just one device needed at the garden room connected via the cable to a port in th house, or is it more complicated than that?  I would like to have the full maximum speed of the EE fibre broadband available in the garden room.  What devices are recommended.
I would like to connect the cable to a port on the Smart wi-fi extender device rather than directly to the hub, is this an option or do I have to cable directly to the hub?.

@trialistjoe1   that switch would restrict speeds to 100Mbps, which may be enough for your needs, but not the full speed you mention in your first post.

This one also does 1000Mbps or 1Gb would give you the full speeds on ethernet. https://www.tp-link.com/uk/home-networking/soho-switch/tl-sg105/

Other makes are available, just search for 1Gb desktop 5 port switch or 8 port if you need more ports.

No that wont be suitable if you want the maximum speed, you need something with at least a Gigabit speed

Something like this under £20.00 from Amazon

NETGEAR 5 Port Gigabit Network Switch (GS305) - Ethernet Splitter - Ethernet Switch - Ethernet Hub - Plug-and-Play - Silent Operation - Desktop or Wall Mount

Thanks for the advice. There are a large number of switches on the market
at a wide range of prices, many of them made by the same manufacturers. Is
the Netgear one you have suggested particularly suitable for some reason?

@trialistjoe1 Netgear or Tp-Link, both good recognised make of switch, you can also use the one you have, try and see if you are happy with the speed, does not solve your wireless request that you had earlier, if you are on a fttc package less than 100mb/s that is the slowest point. Don't remember you posting your speed package.
