Existing VOIP setup with new EE connection

Just signed up with EE to migrate broadband AND my current PSTN number to EE broadband and voip from Plus Net.

Have existing (obviously different) VOIP number with The Number People using my Gigaset N300 IP cordless phone system.

Had to configure the N300 manually of course. Works fine. Plugs into my current router setup via ethernet port.

I can have multiple VOIP services on the Gigaset.

How do I get the configs for the EE VOIP service such that I can add it to the N300? The N300 has a config wizard but there's no entry for EE. Screenshot 2025-04-08 at 13.44.49.pngScreenshot 2025-04-08 at 13.45.26.png

Will not be using EE router hardware as I have my own TP-Link MESH system.

Screenshots of the N300 config screen attached.

@mjcmitchell   The information you are looking for is not available. If you take EE Digital Voice it can only be delivered via the EE (or some BT) router.

EE do not publish their VoIP settings for their proprietary DV system. You must use the EE router if you wish to use your digital landline.

Thanks all. I have been sold the transfer to EE under false pretences. Good job I asked. I was quite explict about using my own router setup. Will now complain to Plus Net.

@mjcmitchell   you can use your own router, and no reason not to carry on using your VOIP supplier with the same settings.

However EE/BT Digital Voice only works via their routers.

Wondering why you would want EE DV if you already have a VOIP supplier?

Thanks! You're welcome 🙂 ! Glad I could be of assistance & trust it is now sorted.

@mjcmitchell Plus net are no longer supplying the landline product to you is this correct, EE will take it on and give you there version of DV, but you do have to use the EE supplied router, your other VOIP should work and hopefully pass through the Ethernet connection to you existing equipment.
