EE took it upon themselves to set up a new 24 month contract

Bit of a long one but here we go.

I'll start from the top - me and my partner both have a sim-only plan with EE which was nearing 12 months, as well as having BT broadband with TNT sports included.

We are going to Europe a few times this year and I didn't want to pay the absurd prices EE charge so I called up 150 and told them this. The chap on the phone said they can do a PAYG unlimited sim with EU roaming for £19 each (£20 reduction on each due to having BT internet). Great, right? Towards the end of the call I was also "offered" a free apple 4k TV box to replace my youview box. I accepted the offer because, why not?

Today however...went to set up the new box, hated it, the layout, the remote control...all awful. Plug the old youview box back in, go to put on TNT sports and it won't work, nor will it work on my phone app.

I flick back through the horde of emails sent by EE and I noticed they've signed me up for a new 24 month contract, but with EE? I  appreciate they're the same as BT but not once did I get asked if this is what I wanted. Now, I'm probably going to spend hours on the phone sorting this all out and I'll probably miss the most important weekend of both the rugby and football season!

Absolutely fuming. Awful communication to the customer. The worst bit is I'm paying nearly £100 per month just for Internet and sports yet if I sign up to BT now with the additional HD sports then its only £72. What on earth?! Tempted to throw the towel in and leave them altogether. Absolute sh*t show

There isn't a PAYG unlimited sim with EU roaming for £19 pm.
