Hi
i have just received a new hub 6 plus.
However, tried to pair the previous EE extender & will not work ( model SW10a)
all worked fine before with the BT smart hub 2.
i tried connecting with Ethernet, the extender flashes blue a few times them goes red.
I have tried a full reset ( both extender & new hub 6 plus but still will not complete the setup )
is there a solution please.
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

You have got the wrong Smart WiFi extenders. The Smart WiFi (2023) (SW10A) is meant for the EE Smart Hub (2023) (SH20A). It worked with the BT SH2 cuz the EE Smart Hub (2023) is a clone of it.
For the Smart Hub Plus (SH30A, SH31B or SH32B), of Set up your Home Broadband EE Router, you need the Smart WiFi Plus (SW30A), of Setting up Smart WiFi.

Thank you.
do you know if the SW40J will work with the hub 6 plus ( as I am waiting for the hub 7 plus hence check - or will the SW30A work with hub 7 plus when it arrives )
Many thanks.

Neither, you generally can't mix & match EE routers & extenders. Each goes with its mate.
