EE app not working to manage Smart Hub Plus

I've hit yet another snag since moving over from BT to EE: when I open the app and go to manage my broadband, and select WiFi, it says I can't manage the settings because I'm not connected to my home WiFi. But I am: the router shows the phone as connected and active and I can access the internet.

Anyone else had this and did you find a fix?

I had high expectations that EE would have resolved this yesterday (as per email and text I received), and to my dismay it isn't. The text I received said they would follow up today with a call at 18:00 but no call so far.

Screen shots showing the various issues, WiFi control still not working, can't onboard router, cyber security says no subscription available and the EE shop says service is not available.

I had my call but later then promised today. Unfortunately not fixed for me - apparently more ‘fixes’ are due on 10th of April but I lost any faith or hope as I can’t take the stress anymore.

@Chris498 : Your 2nd image talks about a Smart Router but you (& this thread) have a Smart Hub Plus. They are not the same. Is that image coming outta the EE Home app? If so, it is not applicable to the SH+. It was only intended for the white Smart Router.

Yes it is coming from the EE Home app... That's what I was advised I need to do to get it configured.

@Chris498 : Well, you don't! EE Home app is only for Smart Router. Only the EE app can configure the SH+, even when it's not working altho' it was intended to & promises, promises it's gonna be fixed 😉!

This is where I am since December,

I've been told that the The hub manager is at least 2 firmware updates behind the current version, hence the network mapping is not in sync with the app mapping, the app still has many issues for me none of which have been resolved to date, cannot turn on safe search , can't open the wifi enhancer controls, still getting not connected to my wifi, mapping is all over the place, says Amazon Alexa is connected via ethernet, speed test crashes most of the time, still have a cloning issue of wifi extenders EE have confirmed this is something they are aware of & there is a team looking into things.

I have 3 wifi extenders on the second floor & I never get more than 2 bars of wifi on any portable devices, ive also never seen anything connected to the wifi extenders in the hub manager bar an Amazon Alexa via ethernet which is not possible, the app mapping shows 5 devices connected to a study extender when I open the extender no devices connected.

I have now received a letter guiding me to contact the Ombudsman which I have done.

I had open reach here today for 2 hours, tested the fibre link all good, but couldn't log into my hub to  run a speed test, ive tried 3 hubs they can't all be faulty ?

Engineer is going to escalate it up the ladder, my complaint has been open since December, on the smart wifi plus hub my speeds keep dropping to 300mb and by resetting the ONT & router does not bring the speeds back up to the 1.3gb promise , in addition my upload speeds are now set at 80mb.

i've now disconnected all the smart wifi kit & hub & extenders and have installed 2 Asus routers and am having no issues on the network, off the 10gb port on the router hard wired to a Mac im getting 1.69gb download & 100 up

ive been told im expecting a call tomorrow from EE.

Which ASUs routers did you go for?
