EE WIFI_EXT

We have suddenly developed a problem with our EE WIFI. We currently have the main router in the living room along with 2 other discs upstairs. Our main WiFi is working fine downstairs and can be accessed upstairs but is a weak signal and keeps dropping in and out to 4 & 5G. our upstairs discs were working fine until one evening when the discs were flashing on and off and different colours most of the night. Since this happened the EXT WiFi has suddenly appeared. We’ve tried to connect but it states weak security. We’ve tried the reset but it has not returned to how it was working before.

@jwr1955 What EE Router do you have look at label for model, also what is the Extenders that you have same details as for the router, the package/speed you have from EE, and approximately when did the extenders start to show issues with the router?

@jwr1955  Where are you seeing this weak security ?  If it’s on an iPhone it’ll be because there is a better security available but the router has to have WPA3.  WPA2 is all that’s available to the Smart Hub.

Have you tried just restarting everything?  Switch it all off for 30+ seconds then restart the router once that’s back up and working start up the disks
