BT Smart Hub 2 router 'damaging' home networks

The BBC reports that a fix from BT is said to be on its way. I am not aware of EE's plans for this but would expect it to follow.

Ironically I am finding the EE Variant alot more reliable than the BT version when I had it. Yet its the same device just rebadged... It will interesting to see what happens.

Not just rebadged but different firmware.

No its actually the same device just different outer appearance.

The firmware is part of the badging!

Is the EE Smart Router (equievement to BT SmartHub 2) the same router supplied as standard with EE Superfast Broadband, Fibre Max 100, 300 and 900, quoted as “New EE Smart Hub router”?
