EE Smart Hub Router Plus Naming Convention Bug

Has anyone else observed an issue with the EE Smart Hub Router Plus Naming Conventions? (Firmware version - r1.34.1-R-1055417-PROD-83002)

The hub will show a connected device's MAC address and a device name in the EE Home app, but for some devices, all that pulls through on the Admin page (192.168.1.254) is a MAC address.

The name can be added on the EE app and will then pull through on the Admin page (192.168.1.254), but this should not be necessary and appears to be a bug.

@huggons It was the same on the previous 2 versions of FW as well, struggles with some devices to get the name, so just returns the mac address. Someone did report it to EE, so probably on a list of fixes somewhere.

Very odd, is there anything unusual about the names that it doesn't seem to pull through? e.g. do they contain punctuation or other unusual ACSCII characters? Shot in the dark, but I wonder if there's a parsing problem somewhere 🤷‍♂️

@bobpullen On my example, the router manager displays Asus RP-AX58 name and associated mac below on the 2.4ghz, the other is mac address for name, and same associated mac below on the 5ghz and you would expect it to show the Asus name as above, and assigned IP to suit, the app does not get anything right apart from a name, but it thinks it is an old samsung phone that was once on the system, but as router and device are both working correctly just leave it alone.
