According to the pinned Frimware release change log thread 2 firmwares started rolling out from May (r4.28.1) and From June (r4.29.1)
No one is getting these updates to fix the annoying delayed ethernet connection.

@Profile closed Not that you are that far off but the actual's are below....
Firmware version: r4.28.1
Deployment date: From May 2026
Hub Type: SH40J
and
Firmware version: r4.29.1
Deployment date: From June 2026
Hub Type: SH40J
Some did get the first one with a few issues and not a lot reported it apart from those with the issues, the 2nd as yet know one has said anything about it currently. EE may inform as to the what/when it's all going to possibly happen....
If you search the forum for the released you will see. FW: r4.28.1-R-1882725-PROD-1 and the gui is at App Version 3.14.5 31/05/2026 Stability Problem

It's so dumb any one with an nvme/ssd drive in their PC has to wait 20-30 seconds for the HUB to be ready, it's just annoying this is taking so long to fix.

@Profile closed It's been like it for years you obviously never came across the fix putting a switch in front off the Ethernet port!
See you have only had yours since Dec so you missed the first year! It will happen when it happens and someone really needs to go test all the previous known faults along with the NOW documented fix list to really see what is going on with it all!

Yeah I'm not paying money for hardware to fix a firmware flaw, it's their issue which shouldn't be taking this long to fix.
Those exclamation marks at the end of every sentence make it look like you're yelling at everyone 😂

@Profile closed Just getting your attention, no more now....🤣 The EE Smart Hub 6 Plus was there when i joined Mar 2024 spotted it straight away and just threw a old Switch i had lying around then went and got a Tp-Link one to suit, bit different for you with the Pro as 2.5Gb/s switch is required if you want/need the full speed. Although the FW updates are marked as being fixed that is for someone else to see and check it out. Do think the Pro may be pulled just now as another rapid mentioned 5Ghz wifi disappearing so who knows were it's at currently.👍👌
Would be more worried if the Free internet for all get's thrown in the mix with no resolution to get rid.
