Devices connected to WiFi but no Internet

Hi All,

I've had full fibre broadband with BT for 4 years then Plusnet for 2 years and not had a single issue.

2 weeks ago i transfered to EE 900Mbps with a Smart Hub 7 Plus and since day 1 we keep getting devices that cannot access the internet even though they show as connected. This mainly effects my Sky Q box, LG TV, Samsung Tablet and a couple of Samsung phones.

So far the only way to get them to connect is to reboot the router or keep re-adding the WiFi details but this only works for about a day then the same thing happens.

I've tried resetting the router but this didnt make any difference.....any suggestion?

Just switched back to the EE hub and its the following firmware version.

Firmware version:r3.35.24-R-1648110-PROD-84001

App version:3.11.3

With regards to Sky Q i dont have any mini boxes, just a main box.

@Pug_73 Leave it on if you can it's the new 7 Plus version and the FW you have is current and the latest version, as far as reported. Is your sky Q main box near the EE Hub so you could try the Ethernet connection to it?

What's the answer to this ^?

@Pug_73

Are the affected units using 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz bands.

If the latter then although you've no mini units the Sky Q box might still be transmitting so I'd check that and check that the EE unit is not using ch36 just in case, best not to have it set to auto anyway.You need to rule out things that have caused issues in the past for other users.
