Since yesterday (09/04/2025) afternoon I have been experiencing problems with connection to websites over EE Broadband. I keep getting DNS errors. Sites that have been trying to connect to at the time include BBC News & iplayer, Channel4 streaming. As others have posted there doesn't to be any way of checking or changing DNS settings on the EE Smarthub.

Hey there @EdPeters!
Welcome to the EE Community 😊
Since you started noticing these errors, is it all websites that seem to be affected, or is it intermittent?
Also have you had a chance to run a check on your line by sending us a text with HELP to 66033?

When I have had the problem it has been across a number of websites. I have checked internet connectivity, and I have been connected to the internet, but it's DNS which is the problem.
I haven't used 66033, as it is a premium rate number, and I don't see why I should have to pay extra for EE to look into a problem I am having , possibly with the service I am getting (or not getting) at the time.
I did try the EE App last night but just got 'stuck' (with the wheel of doom) checking connectivity.

@EdPeters The line check service isn't a premium rate number, this is charged at the standard network rate 😊
If you haven't already I'd recommend a full restart on your Hub too, making sure to fully unplug this for at least 10 seconds.
