Does anyone else find it slightly annoying (understatement!) that after you do your research to find the best price phone/broadband, you negociate a reasonable price.... and then within 6months the price goes up by more than 10%?
Company to Customer loyalty seems to go out of the window rather quickly too (I've been with Orange/EE since the company started)..... time to reconsider when they can do pretty much what they like!
All comments and thoughts welcome (polite one's)! ;o)

Isn't this the annual contractual price increase due from March 31st each year?

@R_N_H annual prices have been a things for quite a few years now. Either you take them into consideration, or change the timing of renewals.
My phone is out of contract, but I am waiting until a new contract increase is not due until next year. That way I will only have one month of extra payments. (12 Month contract).
Do also check out the comparison sites, they often show deals not available on the main providers sites.

It is..... but the days of having a contract which is fixed have long since departed!
Think of other contracts which thankfully don't change after you've taken them out (Insurance for example).
Thanks for your reply!

Interesting thought - change the timing!
When you're contract comes to an end..... there is usually a price-hike (not the other way around)... so yes, if you need continued service... you could pay a lot more... or try to negociate a renewal (which then, usually, because there are 12+ months in the contract....will find there's a price-hike).
I think the time has come for companies to enter a contract....and that's what happens for the complete contract term.
Imagine car insurance....and half way through you have to pay more?!
Strange as I don't remember a re-fund of services not provided when I didn't have a phone-line / internet for a few days!
Anyway, thanks for your comments / reply!

Hi @R_N_H
There's an Annual Price Changes help page that explains price changes in a bit more detail, with a helpful video explaining the reasons why these changes happen.
If you'd like to discuss your plan and options moving forward, I recommend speaking with our customer support team.

@R_N_H Have you ever read the contract T&Cs that you agreed to when you took out the contract.

Insurance contracts are fixed term, fixed price usually for 1 year. Completely unlike telecom contracts So not a good comparison.

Mine has just gone up by 15%, only been with EE 3 weeks.
I have 3 phone numbers and broadband, my broadband has increased by 4.5% which isn't so bad, but 15@ for each number...
My old provider has also increased but by 6% for mobile.
It seems EE have just thrown a number at the increase.....
