Connection Dropping Out At The Same Time Every Day

Hello!

I have recently moved to EE broadband and it has been mostly working pretty well. I have had an issue with it for a while where the connection would drop for a minute/two sometime in the hour of 12am every single day. It has also changed with the clocks so it has stayed at the hour of 12am.

It's incredibly frustrating to be doing something and being disconnected from everything. Playing online gets hit the hardest as you can imagine.  The connection drops for both Wi-Fi and Ethernet.

The logs in the admin panel of the router don't show anything for this at all. This wasn't a problem when I was using Sky.

There are no other issues. Speed is fantastic, the other 23 hours of the day works perfectly.

I am on the 1700mbps package using the Wi-Fi 7 Smart Hub Pro.

@awdawdawd : As you're using the SH Pro practically any router will work there, incl. the 1 you link. But be aware it is WiFi6 whereas the SH Pro is WiFi7. Also it has only 1 Gig LAN ports.

@awdawdawd Do not understand what your question is unless @XRaySpeX has already answered for you.

Hey,

Thanks for the reply.

I tried putting the user/pass as per the instructions on EE's website but it doesn't seem to work.

Do you know if I'm doing anything wrong here? Is anyone here familiar with Netgear Admin settings and knows how to set up the EE stuff on it?

Thanks

Can't really read that but let's see the WAN Setup page bigger.

@awdawdawd And also what is on the IPV4 settings page, as it looks like you have gone straight to the IPV6?

Got it working! It had to be IPV4 not IPV6.

Thanks for your help.

I'll see if I get the drop out issues after 12:00 with this router and report back.

Cheers

Still happening btw, is it fixed with the other router?

Still happening here. Quite disappointed in EE. This issue hasn't even been acknowledged by them and if you call their CS they just gaslight you. I'll go back to virgin media as soon as I can. Had a much better experience with their CS too. I'll make sure to advise anyone to avoid EE as they clearly don't give a xxxx after they locked you in with a contract.
