I made a complaint to EE on Friday and the advisor opened a case. They texted me a reference number and a generic message saying they were looking into it and would get back to me as soon as they could. On Monday they sent a text repeating the reference number and saying they'd now closed my complaint with no explanation, no resolution, and without my consent. Under UK rules regulated by Ofcom, I have the right to reopen any closed complaint within 28 days if I am unhappy with the resolution. The text number can't accept replies. I wish this complaint reopened immediately.

Yes, you do have the right to reopen any closed complaint within 28 days but you need to call CS to do so.

@ColinTindal Then you need to call EE CS again and do that, reporting it on the Forum gets you nowhere at all!
Your consent is off no importance for the complaint to be closed in the slightest, just so you are aware off that particular fact!
EE are closed now, so you may wish to pick it all back up 8am onwards tomorrow.
