Cannot connect to mail servers via EE Broadband

For some reason, I cannot connect to any mail servers through Outlook 2019 through my EE Broadband. It keeps saying it cannot connect. I've disable my VPN and Fireweall but this has made no difference so it appears to be the access via EE Broadband. IS anyone else having the same issues?

Has it worked before?

Who is your email provider? What have you put as the Incoming Server settings (all of them) in your Mail app, obscuring your name?

I'm trying to access my emails on gmail and yahoo.com. I have generated passwaord and have the IMSP Server numbers but it won't connect to either. This is the settings for my gmail that I received from gmail:

Try taking SPA off both.

No that doesn't work either. I still get the same error message:

Try making Encryption Method = SSL only.

I'm getting the same issue. I'm not sure why all of a sudden I can't access my emails. Its becoming frustrating.

@DAHLIA1987   You didn’t answer @XRaySpeX  first question

You sure you've got your email addy & pwd exactly correct? Check them thoroughly! It should be working provided you got all email settings right. It isn't down to EE BB>

@DAHLIA1987 - has it ever worked?

...so it appears to be the access via EE Broadband

Have you confirmed this by trying from another Internet connection e.g. a mobile hotspot?

I have generated passwaord...

So you're using app-specific passwords? Why? Outlook 2019 has a tailored account creation option for GMail addresses.

There are a bunch of other nuances associated with app-specific passwords. Not least the fact that you need to have two-factor auth enabled on the Google account. Plenty of info here.
