Hello

I wanted to know if you can get an extra Smart WiFi Pro box free of charge.

Just ordered the 1.6Gbs broadband. The Smart Hub Pro will be in the lounge and the Smart WiFi Pro will go upstairs in the main bedroom.

I would like to get a 2nd WiFi Pro to put in the kitchen to try and get a good signal on my patio.

Thank you in advance.

Yes, you can - see ee-smart-hub-pro-and-smart-wifi-pro-t-and-cs-september-2024.pdf  :

If you’ve set up your Smart Hub Pro and your Smart WiFi Pro device in your home and you don’t get a minimum of 100 Mbps WiFi speeds in every room, we’ll run some diagnostic tests and if eligible we’ll send you another device. If you’re still unable to get a minimum of 100 Mbps WiFi speeds in every room, we may send you a third (and final) device.

@bigrob

I would see how you get on at first as I found the range to be really impressive with just the Hub and one Extender.

Introducing too many of these devices may cause more issues than it solves (and EE normally want you to have tried a couple of different locations before sending out an additional extender).  Try to place your extender in between the router location and the weaker spot of the house and see how it goes.

Hello Mustrum

The helpful chap I spoke to said he will make a note in his calendar, to order one for me once my line has been activated. He can’t do it now as the order is live.

I called and one will be sent next week after my line has been activated.
