Could someone (preferably from EE) please explain to me why I am paying £69 a month for my current broadband/landline package?  I use the internet mainly for emails, online banking and shopping.  I am not a gamer, I live alone and I am 70+years of age.

It's irrelevant what you use your BB for. That's your choice. You pay for what you bought from EE however you use it.

You might well manage with a much cheaper package than what you have now, but we need to see some more details of your current bundle first.
