Was with BT but upgraded and was transferred to EE broadband. Engineer came out and set everything up. Therefore had a new EE network and password to connect devices like phone, iPad fire stick etc.
I then went onto the broadband section of the EE app and it said to put in my old BT network details to then automatically update all devices with the new password to save having to input it individually to every device that was previously connected to BT network.
However everything has now, when looking at the WiFi connection gone back to the old BT network and there is no sign of the EE network. Why has this happened , and not stayed with the new EE network.

When choosing the option to transfer devices, renaming the SSID and the password is how the EE Hub goes about doing this, as all the devices should just be able to connect back up automatically and save you from going to each of them with the new details.
This is absolutely fine and not a problem, the Wireless details you use are only a local access thing and people often rename them to weird and wacky things just because they can, it does not impact on who your Broadband provider is.
I would take a picture or keep a note of the old BT Hub details somewhere just in case you lose track of them.

@Ezmi21 That is the whole object take the old name/password combination and install it on the new EE Router so you have an instant working network with no changing off ALL the devices!
If you do not like that then do a factory reset on the new EE Router, it will match the router details and you need to go change everything to match those details!
