Hi, for the past 6 weeks or so, we have been noticing internet service issues each night from midnight to 6am.
We have some Tapo indoor webcams that we use as indoor monitors for keeping an eye on our dog downstairs. These have worked for some years with no issues. But since around the start of October, we have been experiencing internet drop out during the hours after midnight to 6am. This is the same for other devices in the house.
I believe this is something that is controlled or scheduled as I noted that when the clocks changed at the end of October, the disruption service period moved in alignment with the clock changes.
During the day it is fine.
Any ideas or any knowledge of what happens overnight? Have EE implemented some form of banding reductions for non peak hours?

@CristianJ no the won't be any strange EE activity overnight, there however may be a fault on your line or equipment, why not have it investigated?

If I could actually get hold of someone in EE support that would be a miracle. Have tried various routes and been sat waiting for a response on the app check for over an hour.
This might turn into a "live with" until I change to another supplier.

@CristianJ Text HELP to 66033, or GUIDE to 66033, and the help explanation is below as a link.

@CristianJ there should be no reason to change supplier, and even if you do unless you go to VM or one of the new fibre suppliers you will still be on the same line with the same fault.

It works okay in the day, so I'd have to do this between midnight and 6am, but the link says this the opening hours are: Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm, Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.
Will this still work if I tried it at 4am in the morning?

@CristianJ The automated speed test may still work, but there will be NO one available to call you and if so until they are back in the office during the working hours period. And if you are per chance using mobile broadband then you have posted this in the wrong section, mobile is completely different in its operation to fixed line...
