I have ended and cancelled my contract for broadband and landline. My landline is still live is this correct.

@Janc1508 how long ago did you cancel, and have you had your final bill yet?
The phone line can have dial tone on it for a while after cancellation, but you should not be able to make or receive calls once the cancelation is complete.
