Broadband activation - flashing orange

Activation day today and have had some texts confirming the broadband is active and the line has been checked and is working....but it isn't.

Router is just flashing orange, any suggestions?

I have double checked everything is connected properly and rebooted a couple times with no luck.

@MWibby  is this the first time you have had broadband in this property?

Are you plugged into the master socket?

What broadband service do you have?

No, been here a long time and have been with Plusnet, BT and Sky before with no issues.

It's plugged into the master socket (the only socket I have - has a broadband connection one side and phone connection the other) it's connected to the broadband side with no filter. Also tried it the phone side with filter - same results, endless orange flashing.

@MWibby Are your text's from EE or from BT, EE say that activation can be anytime up to midnight, but if they have sent you the text then you should be good, who was the previous ISP? And phone side will be dead, as they have probably moved you onto DV as well, phone plugged into back of router now.

The texts were from EE (66033). I had a call back from a guide and don't think EE know why it isn't working, order shows as 'complete' from their end apparently and I need to wait until midnight.

Current ISP is Virgin (cable) before that is was Vodafone.

@MWibby If its virgin, then your phone line could have been disconnected, did OR come and re establish and check the line.
