When changing from BT full fibre broadband to EE the engineer left the ee hybrid provided by BT connected. Do we still need this?

@Beyond1 Do you have that add-on as part of your EE broadband package, if so then yes you need it, will allow you to fall back to 4G broadband if your fibre network goes down. If it is not in your package then in theory it should not work.
You may want to post a picture again as there are various units from EE so we know which one you have and if it works with your new EE broadband router!

@Beyond1 Waiting on your picture to clear. When you went from BT to EE, did your installer not setup all of the equipment and test all the functionality? Like your booster, yes you may have to move it can happen as units are not (apple to apple) by comparison, your 4G backup, really should have pulled the network fibre connection and waited to see that the 4G signal kicked in and you still had a minimal broadband at least. Hope at least your happy with your new connection? Will watch for picture to clear....
