I moved to EE a couple of months back, the migration from BT at the time was seamless. I wasn't particularly happy with BT as my existing broadband had been un reliable for best part of two years. Eventually a BT engineer was dispatched and found an issue, which resulted in a fairly decent service. When my contract ended I rang up and was changed to EE as a better deal.
I am still using my old BT hub and seem to be able to join a mixture of SSIDs my original BT supported and an EE SSID. I can't tho enable by BT hub via the EE app. I follow the process, it asks me scan the code - then gives an error. I have tried adding the manual code and a mixtures of passwords and usernames (the old BT and the new EE creds)
Am I supposed to be able to control the BT smart hub from within the EE app ?
I need to be able to administer which devices can connect to the internet in my home, then enable a device temp connection to the internet - which is now blocked and I can't enable it.

@mark508 It's one of those, yes it is supposed too but currently failing to do so, the app is updating and changing so fast and furious but there is never any real what works now/what got broke now, and is very hard to find out as every scenario is different, it is getting better but personally do not use it much. Your choice would be to get EE to send you the equivalent EE router to match your BT and all that is involved with it, or get EE Tech Support to try and resolve why the app is not connecting to the BT Smarthub2 currently. It's going to be difficult either way, keep the forum updated to how you get on though.

The EE app doesn't work with the BT SH2.
