BT Whole Home wifi discs (white) and new EE router

Good morning,

I installed my new EE Smart Hub Plus having "switched" from my BT Halo Fibre to EE on contract renewal.  I am on all rounder Gigabit.

I connected the discs without a reset and the mesh is working fine.  However the speeds are diabolical (c40Mbps download and c10Mbps upload).  The Wifi when directly connected to the hub is excellent (c550Mbps and 110Mbps).  Wired is higher still obviously.

Before I factory reset the whole wifi mesh and start again, is there any reason, other than restarting, that would be affecting the speed of the wifi mech to make it so slow.  If its simply a case of reset and restart, then that will be lunchtime ahead of child chaos this evening.

Thanks in advance.

I'm trying to figure out this out as well.

Reading around it looks like we can add the discs but they don't act as a mesh so that why speeds are cr@p

I had to buy my 3 discs separately and now they're useless

Doing me in all this and money out

@P-Brian Which router do you have? and which wi-fi disks did you purchase to add on to the system?
