Automatic compensation

Does anyone know how automatic compensation works? We had no internet from 24th Jan to 4th Feb due to the cable being snapped by a tree. When it happened I looked online and a number of websites said automatic compensation would be given after 30 days of the fault being fixed. So far we haven’t had it so now I am wondering if I need to contact EE directly about it? Thank you in advance!

@Collins456 : You should not need to contact EE but looks like you'll now need to. It should be auto & paid within 30 days of the fault being fixed.
