Hi, new poster here recenty moved from BT to EE in order to have the option of a guest wifi.
I've come across two problems, one minor, one causing me issues.
1. Devices connected to guest wifi do not appear on the app, you can select "SEE ALL DEVICES", and scroll to the bottom, here it says "Devices connected guest wifi:" but doesn't ever show any, despite definitely having some devices selected to it and active on wifi. This is not the end of the world, but if there's a known fix please let me know.
2. When I go into the area of the house furthest from the Hub, and want to use the extender (The Smart Wifi Pro), this works for the normal wifi ID just fine, but the guest wifi disappears, as if the extender is only extending the wifi for the main ID, and not the guest wifi. This is the worst scenario, as it's the exact area of the house I intended the guest wifi to be used in.
Thanks for any help on the above.

2. The Guest WiFi SSID is only available from the router itself, not the extenders. As you say the extenders are only extending the WiFi for the main SSID.

XRaySpeX,
Thanks for such a swift response.
I feared this would be the case. Unfortunately this renders my whole transfer pointless. At least it seems quicker and the app is mostly great.
Is this something that can be solved in a future software update? Or a future version of the wifi extender? Or is this just how it is and always will be?
Thanks,
Andy

You must be the only person to say that 😉.
Sorry, none of us know what EE plans are in this area & they won't say so until they are ready.

Thanks Jim.
Yes, that says it all. Also covers the fact you don’t actually see who’s on your guest wifi as EE imply that you can.
Ah well, I guess the app needs a little work afterall. Thankfully it didn’t cost me anything to transfer from BT, else this’s all be a whole lot more frustrating.
