I currently have a galaxy A21 and my old phone is a Galaxy J3 and still in working order so I'm wondering if it is possible to use that under the same current number by just applying for another sim card.

Hi @GL1800
Any individual mobile number can only be used with one SIM at any given time.
You can't have duplicate SIMs operating against single mobile numbers - your only solution here will be to either have 2 separate lines, or swap the SIM between each phone as it suits you.
