iPhone 12 Pro Max gold

I have been waiting for my new iPhone 12 Pro Max since I ordered my upgrade on the 31st of December. 
after being on the phone/ chat with EE since then due to no tracking details, an advisor on chat reordered my phone yesterday because they were in stock, the email came through and said I would be with me tomorrow, yet I haven’t received anything from EE or DPD, so I rang customer services earlier and he said it could be 28 days. 
I have no idea what’s happening due to nobody giving me an order number, can anyone enlighten me on what’s happening? I feel like I’m being pushed pillar to post because of being told different dates since the 31st 😞

I’m wondering this too I ordered the same phone on the 31st amd heard nothing although I do have a order number it just says order confirmed

I did phone EE customer services up and he told me the order had actually been cancelled, all without me knowing 🙂 so now I have another weeks wait

The same thing happened to me. I ordered my 12 pro max in November, waited for my phone, it never turned up. Called customer services, they said it had been cancelled. Re ordered last week of November, they said it would take 2 weeks. I’ve been waiting almost 2 months. Still no phone. Ringing again tomorrow. Maybe it’s due to the pandemic lockdowns, stores being closed etc. maybe there are fewer workers now, I don’t know.
