Hello (not sure if Mobile Network status is the right forum but hey..)
im not going to use my phone (EE PAYG) for a few months, I know that after a while the number can get deactivated due to low frequency of use, so just wanted to know how can I not get deactivated?
do i need to actually consume credit (send msg or make an actual phone call) or can I just send a missed call (without usinng credit) every few weeks to make sure the number and phone (and credit) stay valid?
likely I'll not really be using the phone for about 6 months, but I want to maintain the number and also quite a bit of credit on here!
thanks loads for any feedback
cheers

@JANL2 You just need to make a chargeable call or text once every 179 days. This is the only way.

@JANL2 : To save the SIM going into hibernation due to lack of use, just remember within every 179 days (~ 6 months) to make a chargeable action like making a chargeable call or text, topping up or buying a Pack or Add-on, not just using your mins, texts or data from any Pack or Add-on you might have.
