I use my Iphone 12 for work, when anyone calls they say it's like someone is playing the drums before i speak, am i being hacked? has anyone had this before?

@Scottyj1980 Your not being hacked at all. Not with that device anyway. Do you have a case on the device?

Nope no phone case, the mobile is connected to my office phones, so when someone calls the office it goes through a system, but the same thing happens when my Wife calls without going through the works system.

Hi @Scottyj1980 ,
Presumably WhatsApp calls are completely unimpacted which would rule out the microphone?
Assuming the above, is it an option to try the SIM in another phone?

I've got other phones, it's only when people call me though, I can't hear anything.

Hi @Scottyj1980 ,
If the problem is reproduced with your SIM in an Android phone, it would indicate the problem following your SIM. You can probably borrow a phone or use a landline to call your own number in order to experience the issue first hand.
Once you have confirmed the issue, you could try borrowing a compatible SIM from another person to try in your phone to see if the problem follows your SIM or follows your phone.
It's possible by various juggling of SIMs, the issue might magically disappear. Or you might toggle certain things on and off, e.g. VoLTE or VoWiFi, and the problem might disappear or be fixed. Good luck!
