Waiting for back order on iPhone 12 Pro Max 516 Silver

I have been waiting over a week now for my iPhone 12 Pro Max 516 silver for just over a week now AFTER sending my trade-in back!!! I'm not happy at all! I've had to borrow an iPhone 7 off of my friend and as you can imagine the battery is completely done for and have to have a power bank connected all the time when I'm out!

I'm so frustrated... anyone else waiting for a back order that has any idea on delivery dates?

@Chrissieev82   EE are not keeping a device from you it’ll be because one can not be allocated to you because Apple haven’t sent EE enough to cover all the orders before yours.    the current situation in the would has had a knock on effect on everything including parts for iPhones.  Apple can not produce them quick enough for the high demand so it’s a case of waiting.
