I phoned to unlock my phone over 10 days ago and still havent received any email. Customer service has been shocking considering I've paid £1000 over my contract!!

Hi ,it is a galaxy s8 I've had for years but from my mothers account. Had a galaxy s10 plus but screen broke so tried using this older phone but locked to EE. Had a contract that ended in 2019 but didnt get cancelled off so have paid £38 a month since then for just 8gb of data a month

@Dannyrazzaq Did you pay the unlocking fee of £8.99 ? As this device isn’t registered to you or your account. You mum could use the online request form and it’ll be free to unlock. And just to check did you give the IMEI number of this device verbally when you made the request?

Unfortunately she doesn't know her email from when she had this phone as it's from so long ago. I got told on the phone it might cost 8.99 and I said that's okay ,he asked for my email and havent heard anything since then.

@Dannyrazzaq , the IMEI should be in settings, about, you should see it there..
I would suggest giving customer service another call.

Yeah I've called them twice about it, given the imei and told they'll send an email within 10 days
