Sim Only Plan Changed By Itself

TheGuitarist24

I received a text message yesterday from EE saying "Now that your mobile or home broadband account has changed, your additional data boost of 5GB has stopped, if you're expecting a new boost, don't worry, it will be added to your account soon. If you don't have it in 14 days, get in touch by calling 150." And I logged onto my EE account on the app, and my sim only contract plan has changed from £17.84 a month on a 6GB plan with 5Gb free from also having EE broadband, to a new 43GB plan being charged at £22.00 a month and I have not requested a change in my contract. I do not need this extra data as I have been on the 11GB's fine since getting the broadband last year. Has this happened to anyone else out of the blue and what is the easiest way of changing it back to my original plan?

Hi @TheGuitarist24

Thanks for coming to the community.

If you get in touch with our Mobile Care team they will get this looked into for you and see what has happened.

Let me know how you get on 🙂

Leanne.

So I just rang and they sent a text message from a different EE service that got put into my spam folder last month saying this current plan that I was on was being retired and if I didn't respond they would auto change it to this one. But I have no changed it to a 15GB for £15 a month 12 month deal, and I'll still get the 5GB boost from the broadband, so I will be paying less for more data now, so it's all worked out okay.
