If I upgrade my SIM only deal do I have to put a new SIM card in or use my existing one?

Hi @elronaldo

It depends what you mean by upgrading your SIM only deal.

If you mean that you have bought a new upgrade phone, and also changed your plan into a handset-plan at the same time, then you should just be able to put your SIM into the new phone and off you go. The new phone should often come with a replacement SIM incase, for whatever reason, your existing SIM is unsuitable.

If you mean that you have changed your payment plan but remained on SIM only, then that shouldn't necessitate a new SIM as it's just a change of payment plan and is often actioned immediately.
