Picture fragmentation on 3rd smart TV - what to do next?>

Ladybird42

I have just renewed our contract with EE.

After purchasing our 3rd smart TV which is in the dining room, all tv's, now based in different rooms, have picture fragmentation most of the time.  I bought an AC750 dual band booster but this has not helped at all.  What can we do to sort the problem?

Hi @Ladybird42 ,

Does one of the smart TVs have a RJ45 Ethernet port that you could cable to the router via a very long Ethernet cable to check if the problem is solved?

Does the fragmentation definitely occur when streaming from the internet, and it's not a terrestrial TV picture which is fragmenting?

I haven't in recent memory seen any picture fragmentation over WiFi even on a very poor 4G LTE connection. Such fragmentation is an indication of transmission errors which points the finger at your booster which I would suggest to turn off to see if it helps the devices nearest the router.
