Hi all, I wonder if anyone can help as I'm going round in circles trying to talk to an actual human.
Around a month ago I placed an order for 5 mobile phones via my workplace (as in, for work, not a personal order at all). I work for a university so the order was done via a finance department and so I don't get any kind of tracking number etc.
Apparently the order was undeliverable, but no one our end was told this. I want to chase the order with EE to rearrange delivery, but I cannot find an email address anywhere to forward the order to, and to be able to phone anyone, it constantly asks me to enter the mobile number of the device I want to discuss, which I obviously don't have.
How can I get hold of someone to discuss this?
Thanks,
Jade

Hello @JadeAlex26 ,
Welcome to the community,
There is no email, but if you click on the contact EE at the top here, you will find ways of contacting them with numbers to ring them. There is also an 0800 number, and if you are an EE customer, you can ring them on 150, hope this helps.
I would try the 0800 number, which should be In Contact EE.

Hi, thanks for your response.
I've tried 150 and the 0800 number, but the automated service is very limited and only asks if I want to talk about a phone, a device or tablet or broadband. If I choose phone, it asks me to input the phone number of the device I want to discuss, but I haven't received the devices. Is there not a general enquiries number? I've spent almost my entire work day so far just trying to talk to someone.
I have also messaged the online chat service but still waiting for an actual human response on that too.
Thanks,
Jade

Hi, yes I have tried that one. It asks me to input the phone number of the device I want to talk about, then says if I don't know the number then I need to text "number" to 158. But I haven't received the devices to be able to register them or anything so I have no further information on what the numbers might be. I just want to talk to someone to have the phones redelivered?

Have you tried not inputting any number, but just dialled the 0800 number and after the recording has finished see if you get put through to customer service?

Yes, it just keeps giving the same options over and over.
I think I'm going to try to get our finance team to cancel the order and get them elsewhere, this is just silly spending a whole day trying to talk to someone.

Hi @JadeAlex26,
Thanks for the post. I am so sorry that you have not taken delivery of your order and that you haven't been able to speak with us to work this out ☹️
Let me see if I can arrange a callback from one of our team who can help you sort this out. One of our Community team will reach out shortly with more info.
Thanks @Schockwave for the heads up on this.
Cheers
Sean
