No service with new 5G sim upgrade

 Have upgraded my phone to iPhone se and been sent a new 5G replacement sim to change from my old sim have transferred all data successfully from my old phone to new but for some reason still says no service on here please advise? Can only use on WiFi currently what do I do to get 5G working?

By mean of general info, there's no such thing as a 4G or a 5G-SIM, all EE SIMs are capable of being used on all radio technologies from 2G > 5G. EE often supply replacement SIMs with upgrade phones incase, for whatever reason, your existing SIM won't work or doesn't fit.

 

With that in mind, is your old SIM still working? If so, can you put it in your new phone? It's the plan & device combination that dictates 5G access, so if your existing SIM is still live - tryu using that.

 

If you have already activated your new SIM,does it work in either of your phones?
