New to EE sim only can’t connect Apple Watch to data

I e recently joined with a sim only deal and had an existing sim only deal with an Apple Watch.  The contract for the Watch was in my husbands name and I’ve rung up and got this changed so both the Watch and the phone are in my name but still getting error code 031 when I set up data. Help please, I moved from Three as they don’t support Apple Watch now I’m no better off 😒

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Thanks for the reply, yes spent ages on the phone last night and they said it would connect straight away after about an hour of my call but still have the same issue.
