Moving to pay-monthly from pay-as-you-go

I'm trying to move to pay-monthly sim-only contract. I am already using an EE pay-as-you-go sim.

The solution in this post https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/SIM-cards/Changing-from-pay-as-you-go-to-contract-SIM/m-p/910536?nobou... just tells me I'm not eligible for a discount and then sends me to the shop.

In the shop page there's a field for entering a PAC but I'm already with EE. Will that send me a new sim with a new number? I want to keep my number, and sim, just switch to a contract.

Thanks

@Wouter   The easiest way to sort this is to call customer services and your current sim will then become your sim only contract sim.   You might even be offered a better deal as not all tariffs are advertised.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

The PAC field is only for coming from outside EE. PACs can't be used within the same network.
