Iphone 12 pro

Hi I upgraded my phone to an iPhone 12 pro on the 23rd of November. I checked my order last week and it said it will turn up between 16th - 21st December I checked it today and its saying "Awaiting confirmation" can someone please tell me what's going on?

@Hi22  like many people who are waiting for there devices you need to allow Apple to produce them and as they have parts issues due to the current pandemic in the world they cannot produce them quick enough so cannot send them out to all that sell the device quick enough and because of this EE are not receiving enough for everybody who is waiting, so you’re going to have to be patient and wait until device can be allocated to you because everyone else in front of you waiting for their devices of that model type has to receive there device first.     Unfortunately you’ll have to be patient and wait.

I understand this. Would I get it before Christmas or dose no one know 

I am in exactly the same position, very annoying 🤬

It's more than annoying because when I ordered the phone the woman I spoke to said it will be with me in 48 hours. 

so do you not feel that the phone itself was oversold? that the upgrade/ sales team should have had better information on stock numbers and that the website should be updated ? and that people waiting had a message explaining the delay instead of having to chase it up? wasting their  time?  its showing iPhone 12 512gb in stock with a days delivery on the site , and I've been told by the upgrade team that that is wrong in the last ten minutes. 

 I ordered an upgrade over the phone on the 19th off November, to an I phone 12 pro 128 in graphite , i was assured that it would be with me no later than the 12 of December, as i had heard nothing, i chased it and was told there was no date for delivery, it could be two days/ it could be three weeks on top of the (almost 4 ) i have waited. also there would be no offer for an upgrade to a higher gb phone at no cost , and the only option i have is for a pre owned handset, or  leave . Also that i will be charged to cancel the sim card i took out at the same time as the 14 days has elapsed, even though i don't have a handset to put it in. merry Christmas from EE.

It changes back to awaiting confirmation when it is being picked. That was at least my experience and confirmed by EE. It could also mean that they didn’t get the stock they were expecting.
