I phone 6 no EE network

HI all. I have an apple i phone 6 which can't seem to find the network. At the top left hasnd corner I normally see EE and a couple of bars. Now all i see is searching. 

I haven't been able to use it for at least a week now. I have been in contact with apple who went through many stages but couldn't resolve the situation. Are EE having problems at the moment. I live in the Greater Manchester area, M46 area.

This will tell you if there is a problem where you are and you can also report this and get updates.

 

Also have you taken your SIM card out, given it a wipe and put it back in? Are you able to put your SIM card in another phone to see if the same problem happens or do you know someone who is also with EE and having the same problem, as this could help to see if there is a problem in your area?

Thanks for the reply.  My wife is with ee and she has three bars. I have tried all the mentioned plus more as I contacted apple. Must be something with my phone.

@Denn , Have you put your SIM card in your wife’s phone, and does your SIM card then work? If not then it is the SIM card that needs replacing, otherwise it is the phone that has a fault.
