You can't unlock your new contract phone from EE until you have had it for 6 months. This is in the T&Cs

This is a swap phone which I received yesterday I was told it would be ready for me to press "reset data"
If what you suggest is applicable I would have an usuable phone for six months
My contract ended 15/3/21 but as I was fully insured a new phone was sent and that is the one I'm trying to log on to but it says on screen my password is unchanged - I just dont know what password is required.

Are you trying to reset your Apple ID, rather than unlock your phone to use on another network?
